A new event for the 2019 calendar is a Music Festival created by one of our Tower 2 Tower cyclists to raise funds to support our amazing carers.
The Beer and Bacon Music Festival will bring together the best of local food and drink producers and suppliers, along with a great line up of musical talent to create a family friendly festival with a distinctly chilled out vibe.
Why the name Beer and Bacon Music Festival? Well everyone loves a bit of beer or bacon (or even both) right? But don’t forget cheese, pies and pasties, sausages, vegetarian and vegan food, gins, wines, ciders and mocktails, but that would have been too long to use as a title.
If beer and bacon aren’t for you there’ll be plenty of variety to make sure that you’re fed, watered and ready to enjoy the music.
A full line-up of music is planned throughout the day, brought to you by the team behind Blackpool Music Festival and local food and drink will be available to purchase from a range of stalls and marquees.
Inside Beaverbrooks House there will be a range of beautiful gifts and craft items, many made and produced by our fantastic team of cyclists who are cycling from Blackpool to Paris in September raising awareness and funds.
There will be a dedicated children’s play area and a chance to win some incredible prizes with 1 raffle ticket for each person buying a festival ticket and extra tickets which can be purchased on the day.
So bring along your camping chairs and enjoy a totally chilled out afternoon of great music and food, sample a good beer or two (or gin), kick back and relax. After all Summer is on the way so let’s get some practice in for those long, sunny, lazy days.
Tickets for the festival are £10 per adult, £6 for under 12’s, or a family ticket for 2 adults and 2 children at just £28.
