As we gear up for this year’s Children in Need appeal night, one of our young carers, Harry, talks to BBC Radio 2 about being a young carer for his dad and how vital the support of organisations such as Blackpool Carers is in helping children and young people to have time out to enjoy friendships.

BBC Children in Need fund our Time Out respite provision for young carers from the age of 5, enabling children to enjoy childhood experiences, play, friendships and relaxation with others who understand what it means to be a carer.
